Hello, friends! It’s been a minute. If your pack is unbearably heavy right now, you are in good company. I really want to share this piece with you, but first:
The new year began with a significant ending for me and my writing sisters at The Mudroom (the literary blog) where I’ve spent most of the past four years writing, editing, and podcasting instead of doing things like laundry . . . For nearly a decade, The Mudroom opened its doors wide to a community where loving Jesus and asking difficult questions were not mutually exclusive. It was a sacred space. I’m grateful that Jesus and his Word where honored there until the day we finally closed its doors.
It was time.
For me, too. Time to move from what God called me to then to where he’s steering me now. Part of that process – I believe – is finding a new, more accessible home for my words.
